Monaco has been left four points adrift of the safety zone in Ligue 1 after suffering another loss this time to Guingamp on Saturday as Marcus Thuram and Nolan Roux second-half goals sunk the Principality club with club V-C Vadim Vasilyev looking for reinforcements.

Thierry Henry Monaco coach: “We wanted to try to get out of the relegation zone before the break. That’s not what happened”.

“We had a good first quarter of an hour, then there was a loss of confidence after two or three ball losses. We have the opportunity to move to 1-0 in the second period. And on the counter Thuram mark”.

“It’s been three games where we are less at the level of envy. It’s not terrible to go on vacation as well. I will not have a good holiday. Now you have to work and do with what you have”.

Vice Chairman Vasilyev: “Until tonight I thought we would not need more than two players, but I was wrong. It’s hard to analyze hot, I’m touched like the fans. I understand their disappointment.

“It is up to us now to act, to advance this club, because this situation is not worthy of AS Monaco. Of course, I still believe in maintaining, I am convinced that we will succeed. It’s a lot harder than I thought but I have no doubt.
