Marseille boss Rudi Garcia was pleased with the second half as Bouna Sarr rescued a point after Stephane Bahoken has given Angers SCO the lead.
“Given the first period, we can say (we limited the case). We are led to the break logically. Each team had a period. Angers was largely the first, we, we had largely the second. He told L’Equipe
” It’s been two games that we make two beautiful second periods but not a full match. That’s what costs us today the three points”.
“After, it’s good to see the OM react like that in the second period and finally put what is needed on the ground in all areas: defensive, at the level of aggression, cohesion and then play.
”That’s what we need to build, we know we have a deficit of trust at the moment. At least we had to reach the break with only one goal of the gap, and the entrants did us a lot of good. In the resumption, we will have to get back on track, it will be important to be ready for the matches. ”
OM announced on Sunday the extension of contract Morgan Sanson midfielder until 2022.
Morgan Sanson signed a new contract with OM. The mid-24 was previously tied until 2021. His new contract deal ends now in 2022 after arriving in Marseille two years ago, from Montpellier.
