GERMANY, Leverkusen- Lukas Hradecky has urged his teammates to learn from the first half of the season ahead of the resumption of the Bundesliga with Bayer Leverkusen takes on Paderborn.
Werkself are currently in the sixth spot with 28 points two behind Dortmund and Schalke in the Champions League spots and goalkeeper Hradecky looking at the dropped points and highlighted lack of whoever the calibre of the side they faced.
“We have to learn from the first half of the season that we always do the same. Regardless of whether the opponent is Hertha BSC, Juventus or Paderborn,” says the Finnish international to Kicker, “these are the topics the training camp was about.”
“I have no idea why we threw away a few points against Hertha and Cologne in the last week of the first half of the season. Everyone has to see for themselves whether they can be more focused. It’s about these things. Our way of playing is one thing, mental preparation is another. And maybe each of us has to improve a little bit. “
“We didn’t play the perfect first half of the season, but we also didn’t play the worst. We already have a few points more than last season. If we play that in the second half of the season, it’s looking good what we’re capable of. I hope it’s going to be Champions League again. ”
