EUROPE- Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has admitted there are no updates in Manchester United’s pursuit of Bruno Fernandes and has complained of the relentless fixture schedule.

According to reports, the Sporting Lisbon captain is on the brink of a £60m move to Old Trafford but the Manchester United boss has offered no update.

”I’ve got no transfer updates, so no,” he said. “If we get something that we can tell you about we will but I’ve got no news now.

“For me, the most important thing is we get results sorted, get performances on the pitch – that has got to be my focus”.

Solskjaer was speaking ahead of the FA Cup third-round replay against Wolves– a distraction the United boss could do without.

“I’ve been counting and it’s our 14th game in 45 days.

“We’ve still got five or six games before the winter break, so it’s relentless, it’ll be 18 games in less than 60 days, which is physically and mentally demanding, so we have to energise them.

“One good result and performance, like Norwich, they felt good about themselves, while bad results have to be used as a motivation, as in we’re not there yet and need to keep improving.

“We just need the rhythm. When I was playing, I felt us as a team got better as we got the rhythm of the match, rest, match, rest.
