Sofapaka rescue point with late strike

Sofapaka Cornelius Juma struck in the 89th minute to equalize against AFC Leopards to deny Ingwe all three points at the Machakos Kenyatta Stadium today.

Leopards took an early lead on four minutes from Marvin Omondi before Batoto Ba Mungu equalised in the second half through Oduor curled a shot from outside the area that caught Leopards’ Rwandese custodian Erick Ndaiyshimiye but Ingwe got back into the lead from Aziz Okaka but Juma struck late with a fierce shot in the last minute of regulation time.

Sofapaka are on four points with Ulinzi next on their sights while AFC Leopards on two points will face Vihiga United in the next round of the Sportpesa Kenya Premier League.
