Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has described Brighton boss Chris Hughton as a coach he respects before the two sides’ Premier League clash on Saturday and Glenn Murray reunion.

Howe speaking at his pre-match conference said

“I’ve got so much respect for Chris Hughton and the job he’s done at Brighton,” Howe told a press conference.

“I look forward to catching up with him. He’s an incredible football man.”

Murray, 35, was part of the squad in 2015, heading home a late winner in a 1-0 win at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea.

“Glenn’s goal against Chelsea will always live long in the memory,” Howe said.

“That game and goal gave us the belief we could win anywhere. He’s doing well with Brighton and is still scoring goals at the highest level.”
