German head coach Joachim Low has hailed Bayern Munich duo of Serge Gnabry and Leon Goretzka after Die Mannschaft routed hapless Northern Ireland 6-1 in the Euro qualifiers.

Gnabry bagged a hat-trick with Goretzka netting a brace as Germany came back from a goal down to humiliate N.Ireland and finish top of their group.

Low on Leon Goretzka performance;  “He’s scored in both games now, although he’s been injured for quite a while, he’s an attacking midfielder who gets in the box, which makes him unpredictable – and that’s what you want,” said Löw.

Serge Gnabry, continued his outstanding record of 13 goals in his first 13 international matches. “Serge has an unbelievable quality, he also plays along, comes to meet and creates spaces, and he is ice cold at the end,”

“I like to play as the striker, it’s fun and it worked well in my youth.”
