Hertha Berlin were denied a win with Augsburg taking advantage of a crazy back and forth first half to draw 2-2 in the Bundesliga.
Augsburg went ahead Martin Hinteregger rising the highest and powering home Jonathan Schmid’s corner on the eighth minutes with a superb header from 12-yards.
Hertha Berlin levelled before the half-hour mark as crisp passing move lead to Davie Selke to tee up Mathew Leckie to stroke home his second goal of the season and Pal Dardai side went ahead as Andreas Luthe parried Valentino Lazaro’s effort after running into the box and shooting only for into the onrushing Ondrej Duda to stroke the rebound home.
Augsburg hit back less than Koo Ja-Cheol eight minutes to level as Koo exchanged passes with Finnbogason before the South Korean expertly poked home.
