Monaco’s Thierry Henry questions players attitude in Lyon loss

AS Monaco head coach Thierry Henry has questioned his player’s attitude following the 3-0 loss to Lyon with Houssem Aouar, Nabil Fekir and Ferland Mendy on the scoreboard with Aleksandr Golovin getting sent off just after the break.
Thierry Henry speaking to the press after the game
“It’s been a while since I raised the debate. Against Dortmund ( 0-2 loss in the Champions League ) already, I said, even if we knew we were already eliminated (before the match). I’m really upset because you can not lose like that. Tonight we did exactly the same thing. He told Le Equipe
“At some point, we want to talk, but look at the first two goals: there is a 35-meter ground pass that passes between two players and a Lyonnais who pulls out to score”.
“There was quality in front, Lyon did a good game. But on the first goal, we give them the ball for free. We go out wrong and through. Not a player can speak, none reacts. The only one who does it is a Lyonnais.”
“We just lost 1-0 the second period. It’s annoying because we talked at half-time. We thought we would try to come back, even if it is not obvious in the current situation. And (Alexander) Golovin takes a red. It has become even more difficult. We will try to put this game aside because we have a big match against Guingamp (next Saturday in the Championship) .
