Simeone on Tuesday’s 1-0 win against Bayer Leverkusen.

“We play every game as if it were the last and we take things one match at the time. Tonight we faced a team that plays very well, and we had to be very focused.

“They attack very well and can also hurt you on the break thanks to their fast players. We did well despite playing with four new defenders,” our coach said.

With Leverkusen playing three games, zero points, head coach Peter Bosz believes Werkself still have a chance in the Champions League

We were very aggressive, very compact,” said coach Peter Bosz

“I think in the football we played today, we would have earned more than to go home empty-handed.”

“The last pass in the last third did not arrive, so we did not score,”

“There are still nine points to be awarded in the group I’m a fighter I will say only that it’s over when it’s really over,”
