Marcelino García Toral felt that arbitration decisions deprived Valencia of a victory in Eibar.

“It would be positive for everyone to agree on what the VAR considers hand and what does not. We reacted well and again generated chances to have won the game. It seems totally unfair that we have not achieved victory. It is very difficult for Eibar to do less in its field and we generate so many chances, ” Marcelino told Las Provincias

“From my point of view, it is evident that there is no uniformity of criteria. It is the first penalty to be voiced by the VAR by hand after a lateral center, as in the case of Gayà. They decide and we accept it, but it would be good to clarify what is hand and what is not.”

“We are clear that all penalty actions, goals, expulsions and card errors are reviewed. Then there is the interpretation of each action. The penalty in Ipurua … Anyway I do not want to extend myself in this situation », added Marcelino who did not want to go into this aspect further.
