Ulinzi were straight off a defeat by Vihiga United last weekend and looked to take advantage of new boys KCB FC and were gifted their opening goal as Daniel Waweru was fouled inside the penalty area, forcing centre referee Amin Agik to point at the spot with Elijah Mwanzia slotting the penalty home.
Frank Ouna half-time team talk seemed to work as his side equalised in the first minute after the break with Clifton Kisiavuki finishing off an inviting cross by Simon Abuko for their first goal of the season since their return in the KPL.
The Military side went into the lead with Waweru delivering a pinpoint cross which was headed in by Ezekiel Okare in the 75th minute past the opposing side’s goalkeeper.
The Banker’s Peter Manyika was punished for his overconfidence being dispossessed by Okare who teed up Timothy Odhiambo for an easy tap-in into an empty goal on 87 minutes for the victory.
