Sofapaka sunk by Bandari in KPL

Kepha Aswani bagged the fastest goal in the Sportpesa Kenya premier league this season but was powerless to stop his side being condemned to a 2-1 win by Bandari at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos.

With just 33 seconds gone in the match, Kepha Aswani was set up by some good play between Dennis Odhiambo and Cliff Kasuti and the former Ulinzi Stars man set Aswani through to score the opener for Sofapaka.

Bandari got back into the game with Yema Mwana racing to a long ball and scoring past goalkeeper Aimo to equalise for the dockers and the turnaround was completed when Wycliffe Ochomo tapped home into an empty net off a counter attack.

Bandari will now host KCB FC having established their title credentials with a 2-1 win over Gor Mahia while Sofapaka off a 2-1 win over Mount Kenya United will go away to AFC Leopards.
