AS Roma Claudio Ranieri confirms departure at end of season
AS Roma interim manager Claudio Ranieri has revealed that he will quit at the end of the season after coming in on an interim basis after the sacking of Eusebio Di Francesco.
Also regarding his future, because Ranieri confirmed that he will leave Rome at the end of the Serie A campaign: “Once signed I had already decided, that I had come here in a moment of need of my favorite team. The championship ends and my job ends. I would like to promote Rome, it is a priceless asset and it is logical that I would like to promote my favorite team”.
The former Leicester City boss has been in charge of nine matches and has won 4 games 3 losses and 2 draws with the Giallorossi three points from a champions league position and occupy sixth place in the Serie A.
Speaking on his ambitions before leaving the club Ranieri said;
“When I arrived, it was said that its difficult to get into the Champions League, but we are there and we must not leave any stone unturned. There are three games to play and the most important thing is not to have the regret of these last races. We give the maximum and then we will draw the sums.”
