Leverkusen coast Augsburg with Juventus waiting in the wings
Bayer 04 maintain unbeaten run against FC Augsburg with a convincing win on Bundesliga matchday 6 with a 3-0 victory with Juventus coming up in the Champions League.
The goals for Bayer 04 were an own goal from Augsburg’s Florian Niederlechner (34’) plus strikes from Kevin Volland (76’) and Kai Havertz (84’).
“What really pleased me today is that although we weren’t able to create so many chances against Augsburg, we still scored with three of them! That was really strong today.” Leverkusen head coach Peter Bosz told the media.
