Goals by Andy Delort and Mihailo Ristic late on gave Montpellier a 2-0 win to move in contention for European qualifications in Ligue 1.

“We used the ball well. We had a lot of chances and we finished them. Then we stopped playing. We foiled for a quarter of an hour, leaving too much opportunity for Guingamp to put in crosses and create chances. In the second half, we put our foot on the ball to go ahead, create new situations and score a second goal.

We came away with a clean sheet which is a positive for us because it had been a while since we kept one. Since January, we have conceded many goals. We must find this strength and make fewer individual mistakes. It’s always painful to have postponed games, without playing. Training is one thing, competition is another. “
