According to the club website, Neymar’s recovery from injury is progressing well and he will return to training on Wednesday as scheduled for on-pitch tests. Club specialists will carry out a full medical and radiological assessment in two weeks’ time.

Goals from Marco Verrati was followed by a saved penalty from Kylian Mbappe before Kalifa Coulibaly got his marching orders and Dani Alves won a penalty for Mbappe to score the second of the day and chipped the keeper for the third.

Thiago Silva (defender of PSG, winner of Nantes ): “After opening the scoreline it was a little easier, we tried to increase the lead. We had to try to score the second because if we stayed at 1-0 it would have been more difficult. I think we deserved this result even though it was difficult, and we deserved to be in the final again.” He told the media.
