Watford break record EPL points “It is something special for us,

Watford manager Javi Gracia was pleased has the Hornets recorded their most premier league points in a campaign saying “It is something special for us”.

Watford were 4-1 winners in the midweek game against now relegated side Fulham with Abdoulaye Doucoure before Ryan Babel equalized but won through  Will Hughes, Troy Deeney, and  Kiko Ferminia second-half goal blitz.

“There are many games left, some of them at home where we are feeling really well,” said Gracia. “It is something special for us, amazing to get 46 points, the best amount of points in the Premier League is something special and a very good reward for all these players. He told the club website.

“They were all working from the beginning and the players don’t want to stop there. They want to keep getting more points. They are very, very demanding.”

Watford have been having a good season with seventh up for grabs and FA Cup to look forward to on the weekend.

“All the players are tired after the effort today,” he said. “I think the game was very, very tough in the first half. Fulham played much, much better than us in the first half, but as I said before the game, to win today was the best way to prepare for the next game. The players have enough time to recover before the next important game.”
