Bandari: Hassan Abdallah brace sinks Mount Kenya United

Bandari fought back to win 3-2 against relegation-threatened Mount Kenya United with Hassan Abdallah brace helping them to keep in touch with Gor Mahia at the Mbaraki grounds in Mombasa.

Bandari had to change their form with the last four games dropping points and falling off the race for the Kenya Premier League stretching to eight points behind Gor Mahia.

Mount Kenya United who have been on a woeful run leaving them bottom of the KPL with their last win against Zoo Kericho and were on a four-game losing streak.

The table bottom side, however, took the lead with Musa Ekai grabbing the opener on 23 minutes before Shaban Kenga equalized for the home side on 38 minutes as a cross from Otewa singled out Kenga to head home.

However, Melis Medo’s side took the lead again from Ekai with three minutes left in the game before the half-time break as the 18 year old Powerful shot found the back of the net.

Bandari initiative in the second and went level again with second-half substitute Abdallah powerful header finding the back of the net.

The Dockers went ahead and won the three points as Abdallah pounced again on 78 minutes with a header to keep them in touch with Gor Mahia.
