Wolves v Manchester United: Team News
Manchester United takes on FA Cup eliminators Wolves today with several first teamers returning to the fold while the hosts have no injury worries.
In an interview on the club website Monday, the manager also said that Anthony Martial will be available after picking up a knock during Saturday’s 2-1 win over Watford.
“Anthony will be fine, he’s going to be okay,” Ole told Stewart Gardner at the Aon Training Complex.
“Victor has had a good few days of training now so he’ll be ready. Apart from that, [Matteo] Darmian and Eric [Bailly] are still out. [Antonio] Valencia is still out and Alexis Sanchez is still out. But it’s a good strong squad.”
Solskjaer also gave an update on Romelu Lukaku in his press conference, adding:
“Anthony and Romelu will both be ready for tomorrow, definitely, unless they break down in training today [Monday] but it looks good, yeah.”
Wolves have no injury worries but their manager expects more from the squad after recent poor form.
“That night was special for every one of us and our fans but it’s a new challenge, a different competition now,” he said at today’s pre-match press conference.
“Every game is a new challenge, especially you have to realise you’re going to face a fantastic team.
“We have to compete well, be organised, be focused on the game and the tasks.
“They have very good players. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is doing a very good job, a fantastic job.”
