Tusker Humble Kariobangi Sharks in KPL

Tusker ended their two-game winless run against Kariobangi Sharks with a Timothy Otieno netting a brace in a 3-1 win in the Kenya premier league at the Ruaraka Grounds.

Tusker had ended a four game losing run in the KPL with a draw against Ulinzi Stars in a 1-1 draw and went one better with Otieno opening the scoring on 17 minutes for the Brewers.

Kariobangi Sharks were enjoying a four game run without defeat and went two goals down after Otieno turned in a cross from a combination from Muchiri to Macharia back to Muchiri and a well taken cross from the left side meet the cross on 32 minutes.

Boniface Muchiri added the third after the break on 59 minutes from Kevin Omondi pin point  cross to Muchiri and he just heads past the Sharks keeper for a deserved three goal lead.

William Muluya’s side consolation came from the penalty spot with Sydney Lokale converting after Ambunya conceded a handball for a penalty for the away team.

Tusker FC three points takes them level on points with Kariobangi Sharks but with a better goal difference and take on Chemelil in their next Kenya premier league fixture while their opponents take on defending Sportpesa premier league champions Gor Mahia.
