Andrej Kramaric brace guides Hoffenheim past Nurnberg

Andrej Kramaric was brace gave TSG Hoffenheim a crucial win for keep in touch with the European qualification chasers against struggling Nurnberg in the Bundesliga at PreZero-Arena on March 10, 2019.

Hoffenheim had been without a win in two games that had seen them drop off the European positions and were handed the chance to take the lead which Kramaric took from the penalty spot after Patrick Erras handled in the area.

Nurnberg struck just after the hour with Mikael Ishak picking out Hanno Behrens to strike the ball which squirmed past Oliver Baumann.

The Croatian striker won the game on 78 minutes with a backheel after a cross found its way to the forward.

Julian “In the first half I was very pleased. We were very aggressive and played ourselves out a lot of chances. We almost have to score a second, third goal – there were a lot of good situations. ”

“In the second half, access didn’t really vote anymore. Our ball possession was partly too sluggish, but as soon as we put pressure and played ourselves in the deep end, the second goal fell. ”
