Mauricio Pochettino hit with fina and two-match touchline ban
Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has been hit with a two-match touchline ban and fined following the confrontation he had with referee Mike Dean.
A statement from the FA on Wednesday read: “Mauricio Pochettino has been fined £10,000 and will serve a two-match touchline ban following an Independent Regulatory Commission hearing.
The Spurs manager was charged by the FA for: “Mauricio Pochettino has been charged with two breaches of FA Rule E3 following the game against Burnley on Saturday [23 February 2019].
“It is alleged the Tottenham Hotspur manager’s language and/or behavior at the end of the fixture – both on the pitch and in or around the tunnel area – amounted to improper conduct.
