Udinese heap relegation worries on Bologna

Udinese piled on worries for Bologna who are on a three-game losing streak after losing 2-1 at the Dacia Arena and move seven points of their opponents.

Bologna on a two-game losing streak had the best chance in the opening minutes with Ibrahima Mbaye hitting the post early on but gifted Udinese a penalty after Andrea Poli was penalized with Rodrigo De Paul scoring into the bottom right corner past the outstretched arm of Lukasz Skorupski.

Rodrigo Palacio brought his side level after turning in from four yards Riccardo Orsolini on 39 minutes with the game going level at the break.

Udinese Ignacio Pussetto as he leaps high to connect with a cross and powers his header low inside the left post scoring from Jens Larsen on 79 minutes.

Udinese David Nicola speaking after the 2-1 win over Bologna said:

“We are growing and we have grown, we are understanding that it will be a fight until the end” . The calendar is not easy Udinese from now on. He told Sky Sport Italia.

“Today was a particularly important match because we will now face tough games and we have brought home three important points, but there are still points to be won”,
