OGC Nice manager Patrick Viera has expressed his pleasure at the Ligue 1 clash against Saint Etienne will go ahead following the postponement last weekend with Monaco.
“We are very happy to play because we have a game already postponed (Nice-Monaco which was to take place last Friday and will be played on January 16). Viera told the press via Le Equipe
“Having a second, it would have been very complicated for the future. It was good that we found a date, it was important and both clubs wanted to play. From the moment we have the green light, we are satisfied”.
“We are all in a good state of mind to play the matches, but when we look at everything that happens in France, the reports can be understood and we must understand it”.
“We all want to play but there are things to consider, and they are more important than football right now. These decisions only changed our week, we had to adapt and put one more day off this Thursday.”
