Haller and Paciencia score late for Frankfurt win

Eintracht Frankfurt Sebastien Haller and Goncalo Paciencia scored in stoppage time as their side overcame ten-man Hoffenheim on Saturday.
Adi Hutter’s side took the lead in fortitous fashion as Filip Kostic’s in-swinging free-kick, which deflected off Ante Rebic who was standing as a buffer on the wall to wrongfoot Oliver Baumann in goal.
Hoffenheim levelled before the break as Adam Szalai’s attempted a back heel to turn in a backheel cross but found Joelinton to turn in the ball at the far post and took the lead after the hour after Ishak Belfodil cut across the box and struck into the near post.
The game changed on the back of Kasim Adams red card bringing down Sebastien Haller for a second bookable offense five minutes after they took the lead.
Juliann Nagelsmann side hang on for the entirety of normal time but were finally gave in as Haller met Gacinovic’s cross from a short corner and Substitute Goncalo Paciencia missed a glorious opening, but made amends in the fifth minute of added time, powering in from Haller to complete a dramatic turnaround.
