Gor Mahia boss Hassan Oktay proud of 10 man win over Tusker

Gor Mahia head coach Hassan Oktay was pleased with his charges after coming off a 1-0 win over Tusker FC in the Kenya Premier League.

Speaking after the game after Nicholas Kipkirui header gave them all three points and move second in the Sportpesa premier league Oktay said:

“No its not one penetration pass one on one the goalkeeper is telling us he kicked the ball and won the ball but he got sent off and we always believed I was talking with the coaching staff especially the goalkeeping coach who goes to me coach we can win this game easily, I was believing myself I told them maybe 2-0 maybe 3-0 the goal is going to come because we dominate the game.”

on missed chances to finish: “It isn’t the first time week in week out 10 men I believe even if we stay 8 men I still believe we would create chances we dominate the game we control the ball Sammy missed 4 Jaques missed 2 Kipkirui missed 1 I think it should be 4or 5 goal”

“it’s gonna come sometimes it takes time it will come I would like to say something about my boys I am proud of them.”
