New Kakamega Homeboyz head coach Nicholas Muyoti held to draw

Newly appointed Kakamega Homeboyz head coach Nicholas Muyoti was held to a 2-2 draw against high flying Sofapaka at the Bukhungu stadium in the Keya premier league.

Sofapaka opened the scoring through Umar Kasumba before Ravel Maxwell and Allan Wanga’s penalty in the second half gave Muyoti’s side the lead only to be denied by Brian Magonya injury-time goal for a share of the spoils.

Speaking to the media the newly appointed head coach was optimistic of a good season

“It is very possible with the squad I have to even finish in top three because the players have a full support from the management hence good environment for us to achieve our target,” Muyoti told Citizen Digital at the Bukhungu Stadium

“With a few injections in the squad I think we will do better this season but for now I believe in the squad I have and in mid-season I will add one or two signings,” he added.
