Solari praises Gareth Bale ‘RAGE’ bats away lack of goal celebration

Santiago Solari was keen to brush away Gareth Bale’s response after scoring the winner, in Real Madrid controversial win over Levante claiming the Wales winger played with “rage.”

Karim Benzema opened the scoring as Madrid struggled and were pegged back by Roger Martí‘s goal before a controversial penalty kick from Bale sealed the three points for Los Blancos.

Speaking after the game Solari the head coach of Real Madrid said:

“He was happy in the dressing room because he scored,” Solari told a news conference of Bale. “I loved how he came on and played with rage. He won us the game and did a great job. I thought he had a fantastic match.” he was quoted by AS.com

On his non-celebration, Solari was keen to defend his star player who has been dropped in the last two games coming off the bench in both occasions:

“You [the media] have more eyes than me. What I saw was how hard he worked on the pitch. He gave us the victory. If you score the goals, you can celebrate as you want.”
