Mount Kenya shock Mathare United

Mathare United were handed their first defeat at the hands of  Mount Kenya who came back from a goal down to record their first Kenya premier league win.

A brace from Peter Amani helped himself to a brace with one fine header and a successful penalty conversion in the 81st minute at the second time of asking. Chrispin Oduor had put the Slum Boys ahead in the 40th minute but Amani struck the equalizer.

Elsewhere Posta Rangers ended their losing streak with John Kamau earning his first points against title contenders Tusker FC while Ulinzi were pegged back to draw 1-1 against Chemelil at Afraha stadium.
