According to SportBild, Bayern have given up hope of signing Hudson-Odoi this winter and are assessing other potential options in the transfer market.

Felix, 19, touted as the next big thing, has scored five goals in 12 appearances, and the Bavarians have been alerted to his talents but face an uphill task with his release clause set at £106m.

Niko Kovac’s side have tabled four separate offers to sign Hudson-Odoi this January and the 18-year-old forward has handed in a transfer request to force through an exit at Chelsea but have been rebuffed with the Blues sticking to their guns.

“The club told me he’s out of the market for sure and probably he will be out of the market in July. He’s improving. I think he’ll be the future of our club. He will be the future of English football.”
