Everton reject Idrissa Gueye PSG bid
Everton manager Marco Silva has revealed the Toffees have rejected an offer from Paris St-Germain for midfielder Idrissa Gueye.
The 29-year-old, who joined the Merseyside club from Aston Villa in 2016 for £7 million, has reportedly been the subject of a £21.5m bid from the Ligue 1 champions who are looking to bolster their midfield with Chelsea target Leandro Paredes also being subject to a bid.
However, the Senegalese midfielder manager speaking to the media revealed the bd was rejected.
“My opinion is the same as the club’s, and we rejected the offer,” Silva said in his pré-match conference against Huddersfield
“He is one player we do not think to lose in this market. Of course, after some moments it can become a matter of money.
“From my point of view he is a really important player for us.”
