KCB FC grab all points over Gor Mahia

KCB FC grabbed all three points against Gor Mahia with a 1-0 win at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos with K’Ogalo fans protesting with the game almost abandoned.

Gor started off brightly and should have taken the lead from Mustafa who headed from six yards wide from a floated Francis Kahata cross but instead, the Bankers cashed in with Kennedy Owino was to open the scoring proceedings in the 22nd minute with a rasping low shot.

Hassan Oktay boy’s coming off the Sportpesa cup went on the attack with the manager bringing on Erisa Ssekisambu but their pressure didn’t bear any fruits and almost went down two goals but were saved by the referee ruling out Benson Amianda effort in the second half.

With the game coming to a close a linesman flagged wrongly against Gor and the fans protested and threw stones towards the official leading to a stoppage in the game for over quarter of an hour with the resumption seeing Sirkal failing to nab a point.
