Sevilla rout Levante 5-0 in second half collapse
Sevilla routed hapless Levante after a second-half collapse that saw the visitors to the Sanchez Pizjuan concede five goals in La Liga Santander early game.
Wissam Ben Yedder opened the floodgates after they tore Levante open with Aleix Vidal pass into the edge of the box for Roque Mesa to slid in the Frenchman to rifle a low shot into the right bottom corner.
Andre Silva tucked away the second on the hour latching on to a counter attack for Quincy Promes to cut back to the centre of the penalty box and the Portuguese first time shot found the ball into the back of the net.
Los Rojiblancos added the third on 71 minutes as Pablo Sarabia plays in Franco Vazquez unmarked in the area and his shot squeezed past the keeper on the near post.
The away side shot themselves on the foot conceding two penalties after Jason brought down Promes and Pablo Sarabia converted on 80 minutes and Erick Cabaco in stoppage time for Promes on the second attempt to score after Oier had parried straight at the Dutch forward.
