Pellegrini looking to solve Arnautovic issue
West Ham manager Manuel Pellegrini said Marko Arnautovic‘s future at the club remains unsolved after his transfer to a Chinese club broke off but will look to settling the matter.
Arnautovic was keen on a potentially lucrative move to the Chinese Super League but pulled the plug on the deal after realising the deal was too expensive with the Chinese authorities doubling any deal if the club makes losses in their books.
Speaking in the pré-match press conference Pellegrini said:
“Tomorrow (Friday) we’ll see the name of players that are in the squad list,” Pellegrini said on Thursday.
“He’s working with us without any problem.”
“I don’t know what will happen. It’s impossible for me to know the future.
“You as a manager are always worried of any different issues that you have with your squad. Of course if you don’t have any, it’s better, but these things happen in football and we know that we must try to solve it as soon as we can.”
