Genoa confirm Piatek to AC Milan almost done
Milan President Paolo Scaroni has confirmed that Genoa striker Krzysztof Piatek’s transfer is imminent with a medical expected today.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the deal is believed to be worth €35m plus €2-3m bonuses and will be handed over in one lump sum with Andrea Bertolacci a potential sweetener for the deal.
The deal will enable the Rossoneri to release Gonzalo Higuain to Chelsea with the Argentine striker in London undergoing a medical.
“It is not up in the air,” replied Scaroni.
“It is not up in the air, so we are happy with that,” he repeated. “We’re getting there.”
