Marseille boss happy with slim win over Caen

Marseille Rudi Garcia was pleased with the 1-0 win over Caen declaring he was happy for the player’s hard work.

Rudi Garcia said: “I’m not relieved, I’m happy for the players because we validate all we had good on the last two matches against Monaco (1- 1) and the one in Saint-Étienne (1-2). This time, we got the result (we wanted). He was quoted by l’Equipe.

“It may not be the best match of the three that we played, but we were able to adapt to a team from Caen that was more than in the physical fight and we had to be at least to the height in the duels.

“We could have done better in the first half, but in the second half, we came back, we scored, although I would have liked that, for fifteen minutes after the numerical superiority, we are not managing the goal scored but we are able to go for a second goal, as we did afterwards. ”
