Porto defender Eder Militao agrees move to Real Madrid
Porto’s Eder Militao has been one of the names linked with Real Madrid has reportedly agreed a €50 million buyout release clause for a move in the summer.
According to AS, Real Madrid have reached an agreement over the signing of Porto defender Eder Militao for next season to join the club, who have decided they will pay his release clause.
The report states that Militao will sign until 2025. Of the €50 million, 10% will go to Sao Paulo, who held that percentage on any future sale of the player.
The 25-year old’s agent recently stated that a January transfer wasn’t possible but didn’t rule out a summer move.
“There is no possibility of the player leaving his current club in the winter market,” Militao’s agent, Giuliano Bertolucci, confirmed to AS.
“We’re not ruling out his signing for Real Madrid in the summer,” his agent told AS.
