DR Congo winger Yannick Bolasie loan terminated

Democratic Republic of Congo forward Yannick Bolasie has exercised an option in his loan deal with Aston Villa to return to Everton.

Bolasie was set for a season-long loan but has returned to Everton six months early with the player having the option to cancel the loan without the club.

The 29-year-old has made 21 appearances in claret and blue and he scored two and assisted five goals and comes on the back of another African player Jonathan Adjo Kodjia asking for a move with the African cup of nations spot in danger for the Ivorian.

Bolasie joined Everton for a reported £25 million transfer fee but suffered a sustained an injury to his right anterior cruciate ligament and was out injured until 26 December 2017 and has made just 29 appearances for the Toffees dropping down the pecking order.

The former Crystal Palace man has made 33 appearances for the Democratic Republic of Congo scoring 9 times and playing in the 2015 AFCON tournament.
