Kevin-Prince Boateng closes in on shock Barcelona move
Sassuolo midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng is on the verge of joining Barcelona in a shock move to fill the role of a striker after scouting several probabilities.
According to Sky Sport Italia via Football Italia Consequently, the Blaugrana have reached ‘an agreement in principle’ to take the 31-year-old on ‘an expensive loan with an €8m option to buy’.
The former Milan, Portsmouth attacking midfielder only Sassuolo from Eintracht Frankfurt last summer after winning the DFB Pokal and has gone on to score five goals in 15 appearances.
The well-travelled Ghanaian international played in La Liga for Las Palmas in 2016/17 season, where he netted 10 times across 28 games in La Liga.
