Simeone trusts youth players after injury crisis for Huesca match
Diego Simeone will rely on his academy players against Huesca following an injury crisis that has wiped out many of the first team players and has said he trusts them to do the job against La Liga’s bottom side.
“I said patience and energy and, well, I have it. He told Marca.com
“I am calm, the season is long, you have to wait while sitting with calm.”
“We trust the boys from the youth academy to come with us tomorrow,” he said.
“We know them from pre-season and they already know what it takes to compete.
“They are here because they can play and if they do play they will do very well.”
“The game will be tough, with the circumstances that surround the game and their needs in the league” he said.
“Huesca have grown with the change of coach and I’m not expecting anything other than a tough game.”
