Mount Kenya United unveil Melis Medo as new head coach

Mount Kenya United have unveiled Melis Medo as their new head coach barely two months after leaving the club to join Sofapaka where he quit this week.

United are bottom of the Kenya premier league with two points and Club’s CEO Bernard Mosomi confirmed of the appointment.

“Medo will once again be our coach, he requested to come back and we granted him his wish but with strict performance terms. Anthony Njoroge will serve as his assistant alongside Ben Bella.

“It is true that we have not started the season well but very soon we will start to grind out the results that we need. With this technical bench, I am confident things will change for the better,” Mosomo told Goal.com.

Medo left Batoto Ba Mungu this week, speaking to Goal.com claimed of ‘sabotage saying: “I like Sofapaka President Elly Kalekwa. He is a very good man and with amazing ambitions for the club but he cannot achieve the same if he keeps those people surrounding him. He is surrounded by wrong people.”
