Kariobangi Sharks rescue late point

The Sportpesa Kenya premier league draw specialists Zoo Kericho were denied a win after three games stalemate run as Yidah Sven grabbed an 89th-minute goal as Kariobangi Sharks maintained their unbeaten run.

William Muluya’s side came into the game after a 2-1 win against Western Stima while their opponents were from a three-game run in which they drew.

Bernard Odhiambo opener had given the hosts the lead at the Green Stadium in Kericho in the 31st minute of the game but was pegged back on the 89th minute to leave the side on seven points and 15th on the KPL log.

Sharks move to 14 points and will face table-toppers Mathare United in their next premier league game.
