RB Leipzig shocked 3-0 at Freiburg
RB Leipzig suffered their third defeat in the Bundesliga after being shocked 3-0 away at Freiburg with Ralf Ragnick blaming the lack of playing to their strengths.
Freiburg took the first chance of the match through Nils Petersen and added the second from Gian-Luca Waldschmidt penalty kick on the stroke of the first half, with Mike Frantz netting after the break.
Ralf Rangnick speaking to the club website said: “Our strengths from the last few weeks and our play off the ball weren’t on show today. We actually began well and often found ourselves in Freiburg’s half, but we were never really incisive.”
Marcel Sabitzer: “We’re very disappointed and we’ve got to be down-to-earth. Today we played badly and didn’t accomplish what we wanted. We must analyse the game and do better next Sunday, because we didn’t show up today at all.”
