Ryan Babel signs for Fulham
Besiktas forward Ryan Babel has returned to the premier league with Fulham signing him on loan.
The former Liverpool forward, 32 years old, joins from Besiktas on a deal until the end of the season after leaving the Merseyside side in 2011 for Bundesliga side Hoffenheim.
Fulham are currently in the relegation zone and the Netherland international becomes the first signing for Craven Cottage.
Speaking to Fulham fctv for the first time, Ryan Babel stated he believed the club will stay up.
He told the club website: “I definitely have faith that Fulham can stay up. That’s one of the reasons that I’m here, to try and help that to happen. I’m ready to go, I’m excited and I can’t wait.”
