Quique Setien says Betis lacked precision in final third

Real Betis head coach Quiten Setien has praised his player’s efforts despite the 2-1 reversal in La Liga against Real Madrid with former player Dani Cellabos coming back to haunt them with a late freekick.
“We did well in the game,” he was quoted by Marca after the 2-1 defeat to Real Madrid.
“We started brightly, although we made some major mistakes which left to situations which caused the goals.
“In the second half, we controlled things and were dominant aside from a few specific moments.
“We lacked a little bit of precision in the final third to maybe get something more, but we deserved a draw.
“We did lot of things well, but then we lost the match undeservedly.”
Although Los Blancos’ use of a three-man defence caught by many by surprise and seemed to catch Betis on the hop, the man in charge claimed this wasn’t the case.
“After seeing their line-up, we had to change some things but we didn’t have too many problems in dealing with things,” he added.
“I think my team controlled the situation well and the fact that Real Madrid came out with five defenders had them retreating a lot, which is what we expected.”
