Valencia boss given three games to save job

Valencia, Spain- Valencia head coach Marcelinho has been given three games to save his job following the 1-1 draw at home to Valladolid in La Liga.
According to Superdesportes, the Valencian coach needs to add seven points in three games, Valladolid, Celta de Vigo and Villarreal, after navigating the first game Toral needs to get wins in the other two fixtures with this Tuesday’s Copa del Rey against Sporting de Gijón, in the second leg of a tie that the Asturians hold a first leg advantage after winning 2-1 at Molinón.
Marcelinho asked on his job status following yesterdays draw said:
“I do not fear that I’m never aware of that. My job is to find solutions. If the club, as I said, considers that with the change of coach the dynamic will change and it will happen to win matches and believes that I am the only one to blame will make the decision that will have to be made.
“I will accept it, I will not share it because there are circumstances that escape the coach but I have no fear. The Valencia CF is above all the people who belong to this great club”.
