Riechedly Bazoer switches to Utrecht

VfL Wolfsburg midfielder Riechedly Bazoer has cut short his loan spell with Portuguese giants FC Porto to join FC Utrecht until the end of the current season.
The 22-year-old Dutchman joined the Wolves from AFC Ajax in January 2017, making 25 Bundesliga appearances for the club before his move to VFL.
Utrecht Director of Football Affairs Jordy Zuidam said: “Riechedly wants at this stage of his career, invest in themselves,”
“Although he played more than thirty youth national team, came out for the Dutch team, dozens of games played in the Eredivisie, 1. Bundesliga and Portugal plus experience gained in the Champions League and Europa League, he is still only 22 years.
“Everyone knows their potential and he is keen to show them at FC Utrecht again in his own city. Riechedly is a class box and we are proud to have added it to our selection immediately. Thanks to the arrival of Riechedly, the core will become stronger both qualitatively and quantitatively and even more versatile. “
