Jakub Blaszczykowski has terminated his contract with VFL Wolfsburg and will look for a new club as the squad came back from the winter break in preparation for the second half of the Bundesliga season.
According to the club website read, Jakub Blaszczykowski has agreed to terminate his contract with the Wolves, heading back to his native Poland in search of a new club. The Polish international joined on a three-year contract for a reported fee of €5 million in 2016 making 38 appearances.
Meanwhile, the squad was back to training with head coach Bruno Labbadia tightening issues in the first half of the season.
“We’ve got an intensive nine days ahead,” said Labbadia. “It’s our final chance to get our message across to the players ahead of the upcoming matches. We’ll be working on certain things we wanted to sort out and just turning the screw on a few things we think we can tighten up on.”
