“Together with Kevin, we decided that he can best develop as he plays as many high-level games as possible, and both Kevin and we see this as a given at 96, so we agreed to the loan,” says Hoffenheim’s Manager Alexander Rosen on the transfer of the defensive player.

“Kevin brings a lot of speed, he has a strong fight and has a good header game, so he fits perfectly into our requirements profile,” said 96 manager Horst Heldt added.

Kevin Akpoguma on his unveiling at Hannover: “I’m really looking forward to the new challenge at 96, I want to get on the team quickly, play match practice and play my part in helping us reach our goal and make it into the league, it impressed me a lot I’ll do my utmost to make it a loan that will benefit everyone. ”

“In Hannover I meet Ihlas Bebou, with whom I played in Dusseldorf, Waldemar Anton was in the U21 national team and Flo Muslija I know from Karlsruher times certainly easier. ”
